Non-lethal Stun Guns And Why We Like Them

I am getting along into my older years and my family believes it is time I had some home protection. It started because a neighbor (who lives a few doors down) had his home broken into. He walked in as the thieves were leaving. He got a few bumps and bruises but, he is doing well. My children suggested some stun guns.

I agreed to go and view some of the models they have at a pawn shop in town. I have to say, that I am some what apprehensive about the whole thing. I do not know very much about these devices but, I am a bit curious.

I did not know that these objects came in so many shapes and sizes. They look like billy clubs, and flashlights. I thought that was kind of cute. There are even some that look like cell phones! Can you believe it, they look just like the phone!

It is also nice to see that the prices of these weapons are becoming more inexpensive. I had not bought them before because I could not afford the rates. I have been doing some shopping and have found several places on the Internet. There are also magazines you can get which sell them. Then, you can flip through the pages at your convenience.

Some of them will put seven hundred thousand volts of energy into a body. That number is crazily high to me. There were a few which would send one million volts into your body! Can you imagine? That would have to be terribly painful. But, it is not deadly according to what I have been told. It reached beyond my brain’s power.

I want a good measure of self-defense. Even though the prices seemed reasonable enough, why spend money if it is not going to work for me at all? This amount of power seems to be able to do the job. Even if the perpetrator is a large person, this should stop them from harming me. Besides, I do not want to kill them. I just want to stop them.

I think this is the perfect idea for anyone. I believe it is imperative to protect yourself from all the violence which is out there. The world is getting worse and worse so why wait until the inevitable happens. It makes more sense to me just to get it now and I will have it with me when it is needed. I believe I will get one for my friend. She needs some protection too. I believe I like this great item!

This would make a fantastic gift for anyone you care for. You think not! Why? It gives a sense of security and may save their lives. How could anyone not think this would make a spectacular gift? Is it not better to have a stun gun and not need it, than to not have one, and then need it?
