While there are many creatures around the city of Melbourne, it is rare to see the creatures while eating a burger and fries at McDonald’s, but that is an experience that several people had had this week at a local fast food restaurant. Two men decided to offer some entertainment and pulled out a five foot python named Boris in the parking lot and began fighting him.
Needless to say that visitors to the restaurant were a little shocked by what they saw to the point where they notified the authorities, who rushed to the scene and arrested the two men, aged between 22 and 24. By arresting the two men, police realized that the python had been stolen from a local pet store the day before and then decided that the parking lot of McDonald’s was best to put on their show.
Apparently, they believe the men also stole a lizard in the robbery at Totally Reptiles Pet Store, but the lizard has not yet been recovered. And while the owner is still concerned about the lizard she is relieved about Boris’ safe return. The black-headed python was a bit cold but appears to be unharmed and is recovering well from back to the pet.
Black headed pythons like Boris are native to Northern Australia and are not venomous; fortunately they only bite when they are hunting their prey. The men who stole him and the restaurant goers were never at any real risk of the large python although at 5 feet long he is very intimidating looking. Charges have been filed against the two men that include burglary and theft but sources have not released the name of these two men at this point.
This strange display is not common in Melbourne, but just a case of Dumb & Dumber as media sources are calling. As for Melbourne, unless you visit a zoo or pet area you are not likely to encounter a python or other large creature of nature and you will find rare creature during demonstrations in parks local parking, but of course as Diners discovered the hard way, with all people is possible.

Home theater can mean different things to different people. For some people, having a big TV is enough. For some people, you cant have the big television set without a nice DVD player. And for some people, you cant have the big television set and the DVD player without the super surround sound and a high tech Blu-ray player. It all depends on what you want out of your set-up.
For most people, having a good picture and good sound is enough. For others, it has to sound better than going to the movie theater. So how do you decide whats best for you?
The first thing that you should do is visit a retail store and look at some home theatre system in person. This will give you a better idea of what you like and dislike. After looking at the systems in person you should then make a list of what you like and would want from your home theatre system.
Now that you have seen the items, and have a good idea of what you want, it is time to do some online research. There are many reviews and ideas, from individuals who have gone through the process already. Once your research is complete you can begin making your plans, be sure that your system will fit into your designated room and remember that you do not want to over do it. Be sure, however, to look for deals instead of just being the cheapest thing.
The last step would be obtaining the proper cables for your set up. A wireless set up is less hassle, however it does not fit into everyone budget. What you need to know about cables is make sure and purchase an HDMI cable. Nothing to expensive, nothing to cheap, just a middle of the line cable and you will be fine.
Depending on the quality of sound you are looking for, the type of speaker wire can make all the difference. Whether you are shopping for wire or video cable log on to www.selbyacoustics.com.au for assistance or to simply find what you are looking for.
Enjoying music while you are in your backyard barbecuing, hanging with friends or swimming in a pool, is something that many people look for. Most of the time they drag their speakers into the yard so they can enjoy these tunes, but what happens if it starts raining or gets cold. Well, maybe it will be simpler then to just use your boom box that has been stored away, maybe even a Walkman.
There is, however, a more logical solution to this problem; weatherproof speakers. These speakers can be left outside in rain, snow, mist and fog without any problems arising. You can listen to your favorite tunes while swimming in the pool, or shoveling the snow off of your driveway. Weatherproof speakers come in various sizes and brands, but the best ones to purchase are wireless. You can place wireless speakers behind rocks, in bushes or anywhere else that they can be hidden from sight.
Weatherproof speakers can be used in any weather environment, unlike weather resistant speakers. It is important that you are knowledgeable of this prior to your purchase. A weather resistant speaker is normally only protected from rain. This means that you will still be required to place them under some sort of shelter, or bring them in at the end of the day. Although weatherproof speakers are more expensive, they provide an extra barrier that will protect your speakers no matter where you leave them outdoors.
Weatherproof speakers are available in a wide range of colors and styles. You can get speakers that simply sit upon a shelf and others that mount to walls. Others look like rocks and are places in gardens. Although most of these speakers are wireless, some still require the use of wiring. It is important to ask a professional any questions that you have before you make your purchase.
Most answers can be found online and make sure that you do a little research before settling on just anything. Selby Acoustics offers a wide range of outdoor speakers and trained professionals that can answer any of your specific questions.
