What Are The Types Of Psychic Abilities Quiz?

There are two types of psychic abilities quiz. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but which one is right for you? Read on to find out.

The classic esp test uses a bicycle-brand esp card-deck that has five symbols - circle, square, triangle , plus sign and wave. The examiner holds up one card at a time and you have to guess each in turn. This test has been around for decades and was even featured in the first Ghostbusters movie (where Bill Murray tests an unwitting subject).

With advances in computer and internet software this type of test is now available on the internet in several places. There is a real problem with this test, especially the internet-based ones. This type of psychic abilities quiz only really tests for clairvoyance - whether you can “see” the future. But there are many types of psychic ability - the power to move objects (telekinesis), the ability to receive psychic messages by hearing (clairaudience), the ability to strongly connect to others and receive subtle information through feeling or touch (clairsentience or psychometry) and several others.

The second type of test relies on identifying certain personal traits and experiences that might predict the presence of psychic ability. The main disadvantage of this type of test is that some people claim that it is not scientific. And I guess that’s true - it doesn’t give you a definite score or a yes / no answer. But as I see it, psychic abilities are neither black and white, nor can they be adequately assessed by scientific means. So this type of test is a qualitative (as opposed to quantitative) type in scientific jargon. Or in other words, this type of psychic abilities quiz is a right-brained test.

This type has several advantages compared to the classic card-based esp test. Firstly, it can identify a much wider range of psychic ability (depending on the question design) including the “big three” discussed above, but also telekinesis, spiritual guidance, and lucid dreaming. Secondly, it allows for (and even relies on) the fuzziness that exists in the psychic world - the blurring of borders between the presence or absence of psychic abilities. And thirdly, it allows you to measure your progress over time - by taking the same test at various intervals during the development of your psychic skills, you are able to gauge your improvement.

Important Points 1. Psychic ability tests can help you understand your psychic abilities. 2. Many can be done over the internet. 3. There are two major types. 4. The classic type uses symbolic cards that the test subject tries to predict. 5. The other (better) type uses a questionnaire-style format to identify personality traits and personal experiences that might predict the presence and type of psychic gift.

Johnathan Robinsons presents the 2012 Virtual Reality Y2K Blog

Do you get a thrill out of getting a peek into someone else ’s twisted mind just so you know you’re not the only strange one? Are you a geek that’s stuck in his computer chair due to large amounts of bone loss and morbid obesity? Are you a teen social networking addict who’s sad existence centers around who friended you and who posted the coolest video on Myspace? Are you an old codger who just learned how to turn on a computer and who really believes you’re the millionth visitor? Are you a dog or cat with the ability to read, the kit car from knight rider car or a cyborg? Do you have a pulse? If you answered yes to any of the above questions then Johnathan Robinson’s 2012 Virtual Reality Y2K Blog is the place for you.

In our (my) blog we (I) talk about everything from then to now. Visit the blog and watch me try to make the most boring crap imaginable interesting. If you’re that hopelessly bored, you can visit and find all the information on last year’s technology I’m just getting caught up on. In my blog you can watch me try to sound like I know what I’m talking about, give bad advice and otherwise make an a** out of myself.

Maybe you’re asking yourself, “Why would I waste any time going to some random guy’s website I never heard of to listen to him rant about technology when I could go to a site that’s actually informed.” Well that’s a very valid question, and to that I would say “I don’t have a response.” However if you’re the type of person that would feed a stray mut, visit a homeless guy under a bridge or adopt an ugly baby then my blog may be for you.

Stop by Johnathan Robinson’s 2012 Virtual Reality Y2K Blog and watch me shamelessly try every trick in the book to become famous, pay for little Jimmy’s operation and keep my other– children from starving. So if you don’t want to visit, I completely understand. Not everyone cares about the lives of poor innocent children. For those of you that do still have a small shred of human decency and mercy in your heart, I am here.

Best regards

Johnathan Robinson
