Oksana Pryshnivska was born in Ukraine in the small romantic town of Ternopil in the summer of 1986. At seventeen years of age she participated for the first time in a beauty contest in her home town. Oksana completed her Masters Degree in International Business Studies in Krakow, Poland and now looking forward to becoming a successful woman and build OPs World Vision so that she can improve the world of the future for everyone. Oksana successfully achieved Miss City 2004, Miss Photo 2004 and Miss Year 2006 for the newspaper Free Life in Ukraine. In 2007 she went to the USA for four months where in New York and Atlantic City she furthered her work experience. Upon her return to the Ukraine she then decided to continue her education and began a five year International Business Studies course in Krakow, Poland. At the end of this time she returned to the United States.

Community Service - A Fundamental Component In Society

Across the United States, more and more attention is being focused on community service. Consider the fact that our president was first a community organizer; look at what position he has now.

Not a bad gig for someone who was so helpful to his community. Helping others has always been popular, but more and more famous people in different communities are getting on the bandwagon.

The implementation of the community service program has come to a point where young people are officially encouraged to participate in volunteer work for their community. In some high schools, for example, one requisite for graduation is for students to accomplish a specified number of hours in community service.

One obvious effect of this program is that students are, in fact, enjoying the program. As these kids try to explore their interests in the various jobs available, they often come to know themselves better and feel a sense of achievement. In the process, they are able to serve others.

This effect lingers up to their college years and even onto their careers. Many civic organizations find loyal enthusiasts among young professionals from different locations who readily extend voluntary help when needed.

A number of these groups have provided invaluable service to the public in diverse ways for a long time now. Examples of their community service include medical missions, participation in environmental activities, volunteer work related to education, and many more.

These types of groups have been lending a helping hand for a long time and continue to do so effectively. The volunteers who work tirelessly to help others are caring people who very often have other jobs but willingly want to make a difference in their communities.
