Information On The Steve Nash Rookie Card

Weighing below two hundred pounds, at 6 ft . three, Steve Nash rookie card has become much more of a player than in the past. He at this point has taken a place amongst various other greats, as one of those in the NBA who has made Most Valuable player more than once. Only eleven men in the record of the NBA has done this and now he has joined them.

When he started, everything was a distinct story for him. Jason Kidd in 96 was the main super star on the team he joined. Only 11 games that he started in, on the initial two seasons that he played. This was when he initially arrived on the Phoenix Suns from Santa Clara. At this point he was only averaging about ten points a game and three assists.

In 1998, he was exchanged off to Dallas (there are some Mexican jokes about this). When playing in Dallas, his game took a turn to all-star status. In 2004, listed as a free agent, he made the decision to go back with the Suns. The Suns today, would and could not consider playing without him.

Steve Nash seemed to find what he wanted, when working with the coach Mike D’Antoni. His game average took a turn for nineteen points and 11 assists a game. He improved on his 3 pointers and layups, together with getting him self the MVP status for two yrs consecutively.

As well, it served to make the Sun’s one of the major NBA teams. In the first half of 2006-07, his scoring got better still. Inspite of all of this, his rookie card stays way undervalued versus other greats of his time.

It’s unlikely that any of this takes under consideration his 2 MVP’s or the fact that his game improved even more in 2006-07. At least you can enjoy acquiring a card that has not been given the value deserved. Certainly, somebody will realize this at some point and the card will raise in value.
